About the Role
Based in Canning Vale WA, the Loss Prevention Advisor is a key position within the Chemist Warehouse Retail Loss Prevention Department. This role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of risk as a service to the stores and reports to the National Loss Prevention Manager, aiding them in a supporting operational team, business partners, and the broader Loss Prevention team across the group.
Local & National travel will be required for this role.
Role Responsibilities
* Completing Loss Prevention Audits within your allocated regions, with a primary focus on high-risk stores.
* Conducting internal & external investigations, providing a detailed summary to the Group / Regional Loss Prevention Managers.
* Reviewing and assisting the Security Hardware team on any potential alarm, CCTV or security risks to stores.
* Educating and training Regional Managers & Store Teams on theft prevention tools such as EAS Tagging, customers services etc.
* Where possible, attending to stores when serious incidents occur, providing a detailed summary to the Group /Regional Loss Prevention Managers.
* Conducting weekly review of store incident reports and escalating any concerns to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.
* Actioning reports and following up on inventory movement, adjustments and approvals in timely manner.
* Ensuring that stocktakes are completed.
About You
* 2+ years' experience in investigations and Security/Loss Prevention (Retail)
* Exposure to reporting and data mining analytics required.
* Decision Making/ Problem Solving - ability to proactively gather relevant operational data from appropriate sources, conduct investigative analysis to identify security/loss prevention opportunities.
* Communication and Influencing - excellent verbal and written communication
* A demonstrable track record of success implementing risk management and/or audit programs.
* The ability to analyse and interpret data and reports
* Experience working with retailers or in a retail environment (highly regarded)
* Knowledge of stocktake procedures or inventory management (highly regarded)
