Painting Craftsman Position
We are seeking a skilled painter to fill this role. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, selecting and mixing paints, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
Duties:
* Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
* Hanging wallpaper on the wall if required.
* Matching patterns and trimming edges of the wallpapers.
* Cleansing equipment, tools, and work areas.
* Combining and mixing the paint according to the requirements.
* Erecting scaffolding and ladders and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
* Indoor and outdoor work environments.
* Exposure to various weather conditions.
