Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Engineering Supplies – Internal Sales / External Sales
Wellco Hydraulics & Engineering Supplies Pty Ltd is a well-established Hobart based company supplying hydraulic, pneumatic and engineering products supporting local industry within the mechanical engineering sector.
An opportunity exists in our busy company for a full-time position in customer sales.
This role will see you providing mechanical engineering (specifically hydraulic, pneumatic and machine shop processes) solutions and expertise for both new and existing customers.
Duties will include:
*Internal customer sales
*Providing technical advice to customers
*Hydraulic hose assembly (training supplied)
*Processing of orders and ordering product
*Other clerical duties where required
Occasional external customer sales calls and site visits will also be part of this role.
The successful applicant will have:
* An enthusiastic, motivated attitude
* A strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical engineering processes and applications – specifically industrial hydraulics (Oil) and pneumatics.
* Excellent communication skills and a helpful nature
* A willingness to learn
* The ability to work in a team environment and also independently
* The ability to grow and develop new customers whilst servicing existing ones
* Good computer skills
* A mechanical trade background and / or previous customer service sales experience in hydraulic, pneumatic and engineering supplies would be an asset
