About the Role
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you'll be the driving force behind day‑to‑day workshop operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and outstanding customer satisfaction. You'll serve as the key link between our skilled technicians, management, and valued customers — ensuring all jobs run smoothly and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the frontline team to maximise customer uptime
* Oversee and coordinate daily workflow for maximum efficiency
* Ensure vehicles and related paperwork progress seamlessly through the service process
* Drive productivity while maintaining high quality standards
* Provide technical guidance where needed
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and suppliers
What We're Looking For
* Heavy Vehicle trade qualification (essential)
* COI and A/C licence (preferred)
* Proven mechanical knowledge and hands‑on experience
* Minimum 3–5 years of heavy vehicle mechanical experience
* Current Australian manual driver's licence
* Current HR (Heavy Rigid) licence or higher
* Strong multitasking and time management skills
* Confident leadership and effective delegation abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A customer‑first mindset and commitment to excellence
