Desktop Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage tech cafés and provide face-to-face IT technical support services for company-standard hardware and software.
* Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows 10/11 systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
* Active Directory management, including user account management and access controls.
* Support cloud-based productivity tools such as Office 365.
* Manage identities and access with Azure Active Directory.
* Utilize Azure services for data processing and analytics.
* Proficiency in Help Desk Software, specifically ServiceNow, for managing user requests and incidents.
* Provide basic troubleshooting and support for conference rooms with AV/VC equipment.
Requirements:
* 5-10 years of technical experience in desktop support or system administrator roles.
* Recent experience with hands-on desktop support and system administration.
* Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
* Capable of providing best-effort support for non-standard devices.
* Knowledge of Windows platform 10 (32-bit & 64-bit), O365, OneDrive, Exchange 2016, and SharePoint Online.
* Ticket management per company guidelines.
* Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and policy controls.
* Printer mapping, LAN/WAN network configuration, and troubleshooting, as well as VPN client connectivity.
* ServiceNow and ISO/ITIL processes and documentation standards a plus.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts in layman's terms.
* Ability to differentiate between personal computing device problems versus room technology problems.
