Working as Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators and staff and the provision of logistics operational functions such as Inbound, outbound, inventory control, trucking coordination and the generation and maintenance of operations documents, reports, correspondence in accordance with company and customer requirements. Assist the DC Manager where necessary.
Duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to
- Ensure the operational processes in the Data Centre adhere to customer and company processes and polices
- Ensure the assembly of customer's finished product at customer premises meets contractual lead times and schedule Ensure the operational processes in the Data Centre adheres to customer and company processes and polices.
- Direct, monitor and manage the activities of Data Centre Logistics Co-Ordinators and staff in the management functions to extend individual skills and achieve overall objectives.
- Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Set the priorities for the team though delegating tasks and managing workloads with team members
- Coaching and mentoring the team on best practice and implementing training to increase performance.
Do you have:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as a warehouse supervisor 3PL or a similar management position.
- Strong Leadership skills
- WMS and Transport systems
- Rostering and staff allocation
- Excellent Customer Service skills
