Credit & Recoveries Manager - Non Bank Lender
We are seeking an experienced Credit & Recoveries Manager to oversee the credit function and manage the end-to-end recovery process across the portfolio. This role will play a key part in maintaining portfolio performance while ensuring effective credit governance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the ongoing management and performance of the credit portfolio
* Manage and lead the recovery and workout process for underperforming or distressed facilities
* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sound credit risk practices are maintained
* Monitor credit exposures and identify potential risks or deterioration in borrower performance
* Develop and implement strategies to maximise recoveries and minimise loss
* Engage with borrowers, advisers, and external parties during restructuring or recovery situations
* Maintain accurate reporting on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and recovery progress
* Support continuous improvement of credit processes, policies, and frameworks
About You
* Strong background in credit risk, portfolio management, or credit recoveries
* Experience working with complex credit facilities or private lending environments
* Demonstrated ability to manage distressed assets and recovery strategies
* Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
* Comfortable working in an evolving role where responsibilities may adapt over time
