Our client is well respected accounting firm in the Brisbane market. As they enjoy continued success, they are looking to grow their team and are recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join them. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team who emphasise staff well being.
The Role
This is a role that will provide you with the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients from a variety of industries. You will undertake the full facet of bookkeeping duties including:
* Handling client queries
* Bank reconciliations
* Accounts Payable
* Accounts Receivable
* Credit card reconciliations
* Cash flow reporting
* Payroll tax reporting
* PAYG preparation
* BAS preparation
* Payroll
* Undertaking work on the ATO portal on clients behalf
* Software training should it be necessary
About You
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have experience working in a public practice accounting environment undertaking a similar role. You will also have the following:
* Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (ideal but not essential)
* Xero Certification
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional approach to work
* Proactive attitude
* Experience in managing your own portfolio of clients
