Your key responsibilities: * Lead strategic delivery and evaluation of the Australian Teletrial Program (ATP), including contract management functions in accordance with appropriate standards. * Implement and operationalise governance structures within ATP to ensure appropriate oversight of the program and collaboration with partners including in other jurisdictions. * Lead reporting on the ATP to funding bodies, ensuring appropriate jurisdictional input and adhering to contractual requirements. * Provide accurate, complete and timely advice to senior executives at a State and Commonwealth level and input into briefing processes, ensuring timeframes are adhered to, quality standards are met as required. * Manage key relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders associated with ATP. * Oversee and direct the program management of ATP resources including human resource management of multidisciplinary project teams, financial resource management (~$75 million grant budget) and other corporate requirements. * Manage a team, adhering to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: * Demonstrated program management experience, particularly in delivering complex health programs in an inter-governmental environment. * Demonstrated contract management experience and the ability to ensure contract deliverables are met and funds are expended in accordance with contractual requirements. * Proven ability to provide timely, accurate and responsive advice using well developed written and verbal communication skills. * Proven stakeholder engagement skills including an ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders at senior levels, internal and external to government, and within Queensland and across other jurisdictions. * Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to liaise, mediate and negotiate with a range of stakeholders in an effective, sensitive and confidential manner. * Experience in effectively building and managing high performing teams in a public sector environment.
