Engineering Manager Job Description
The Boeing MQ-28 is a low-cost, semi-autonomous unmanned aerial system in development by an agile team. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for executing all engineering aspects of the program, including design, production support, test, operations, and maintenance.
This role is a core member of the ATS Program leadership team, reporting to the Engineering Director and responsible for broader program alignment with the US-based Autonomous Aviation and Technology Chief Engineer.
* Supporting execution of overall ATS program objectives as a member of the core ATS Leadership Team
* Engineering management and organizational execution
* Managing accountability to engineering performance to plan
* Coordinating and prioritizing management across projects
* Employing efficiencies for execution while maintaining key engineering principles, including safety and quality
* Managing team execution to cost and schedule baselines
* Leading and leveraging cross-subsidiary teams, relationships, capabilities, and resources to ensure timely decision making and issue resolution
Key responsibilities include:
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Formal qualifications in engineering or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated track record of leading successful engineering execution of large and complex projects
* Proven excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams
* Experience interfacing with senior personnel in a strategic capacity (desirable)
