As a payroll professional, you will be responsible for processing payroll on a monthly and fortnightly basis, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes. You will also maintain accurate records of employee leave entitlements, respond to employee inquiries, and prepare payroll reports.
Key Responsibilities
* Process payroll accurately and in compliance with relevant legislation.
* Maintain up-to-date records of employee leave entitlements, including annual leave, sick leave, and long service leave.
* Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
* Prepare payroll reports and reconcile payroll data as necessary.
* Stay current with changes in payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
* Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity and accuracy.
* Assist with other finance-related tasks and projects as required.
