We are looking for a Supermarket Store Manager for our independent supermarket based at Caboolture.
We are very proud of what we have delivered to our local community and are seeking an experienced Store Manager who can assist us to take things to the next level.
We are after a passionate, energetic, people friendly, hands on, experienced person to run the day to day operations of the supermarket, working Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends. Ideally, you will have been working in the retail industry for a number of years, have experience managing a team of people and have a thorough understanding of the logistics involved in delivering great customer shopping experiences.
Responsibilities
* Engaging with our customers to ensure that we are exceeding their expectations on a daily basis
* Working with your team to deliver the highest level of merchandising standards
* Working with our Point of Sale system to place and receive orders, manage stock takes, process host files, maintain pricing and print labels and shelf talkers
* Organising, training, motivating and leading a team
* Working with the supermarket management team to ensure our complete offering is of the highest standards
* Working with the head office management team to ensure our organisational strategies are being executed
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment and complying with all relevant legislation
Qualifications / Requirements
* A passion for outstanding customer service and ability to mentor your team
* Be able to work in a hands on, fast paced environment and think on your feet
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in management of a supermarket environment and managing a team
* Proven ability in managing inventory
* Strong produce knowledge and merchandising experience would be highly regarded
* Previous Food Safety experience
* A sound knowledge of supermarket best practice
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook) to complete administration tasks
* Retail passion and experience
