Ball Australia is a wholesale plant nursery operating from custom built state of the art facilities in Skye, in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. About the role

As a Regional Manager, your primary objective is to lead and grow the sales function within your designated region through strategic leadership, customer development, and operational execution. You will be responsible for achieving regional sales budgets, developing team capability (where applicable), supporting business-wide objectives, and representing Ball Australia professionally in the market. This role combines commercial accountability, territory oversight, and strategic alignment across internal teams and customers.

As our new Territory Manager, you will be further building on our success and continued profitable growth of the market in your region.

Key tasks

· Manage channel to market strategies, including channel management and distributor engagement, liaising with the Regional Support Co-Ordinator and Commercial Manager

· Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed budget targets

· Identify and pursue new market and customer opportunities across the region

· Lead complex negotiations and customer agreements at a regional level

· Monitor and report on regional market trends, competitor activity, seasonal patterns, and commercial risks

· Analyse data to identify opportunities, underperformance, or risks in the region

· Track and act on customer feedback to drive retention and satisfaction

Have You Got What We're Looking For?

· A minimum of 5 year's Sales management experience

· Previous experience in horticulture/agriculture role

· Results orientated, tenacious and resilient

· Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions

· Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously

· Team player who always considers the bigger picture

· Excellent communication skills displaying honesty and integrity

· Ability to balance customer focus with operational excellence
