As they enter their next phase of growth, they are seeking a commercially astute General Manager to lead their Engineering Division into its next era of performance, profitability, and innovation.

The Role
As General Manager, you will have full accountability for the Engineering Division, leading both strategy and execution. Your remit will include:
End-to-end leadership of the division across safety, operations, production, sales, and financial performance
Full P&L responsibility, with a clear focus on sustainable growth and margin improvement
Leading and developing a highly skilled team of engineers, supervisors, and tradespeople
Embedding a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partnering closely with the Managing Director and executive leadership to deliver divisional strategy, budgets, and long-term plans
Strengthening key client relationships while identifying and converting new business opportunities
Ensuring robust systems for project delivery, scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting
This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be visible, decisive, and outcomes-focused.
What We're Looking For
You are a proven General Manager or senior divisional leader with:
Demonstrated experience leading an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial business with full P&L accountability
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate operational data into decisive business action
A people-first leadership style that builds capability, accountability, and performance
Deep understanding of engineering or manufacturing environments, including safety and quality systems
Strong communication and influencing skills, able to lead across functions and levels

Projects consistently delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting quality standards

The Package
$220,000 – $260,000 total package, aligned to the scope and seniority of the role
