Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: North Sydney
Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 + Super
Permanent | Full-Time | Rotating Roster (7am–6pm)
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Officer to join their dynamic Property & Facilities team. This role is essential in ensuring the organisation's buildings, grounds, and facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operating at a high standard every day.
As the Maintenance Officer, you will provide hands-on support across a wide range of operational, maintenance, and compliance tasks. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and functional environment while delivering excellent service to staff, visitors, and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out general services including relocations, deliveries, and event setup and pack-down.
* Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, lock adjustments, changing light bulbs, Test & Tag, and grounds maintenance.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff, contractors, and stakeholders through clear, timely communication.
* Undertake regular fleet vehicle cleaning and minor upkeep.
* Support the coordination and oversight of external service providers for day to day facilities operations.

* Background in maintenance, trades, or facilities support, ideally with relevant trade qualifications or certifications.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently.
