We are looking for an Occupational Therapist in Community Aged Care to support older people live safely and independently in their homes.
What you'll do
* Deliver evidence‐based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions that promote independence in daily living at home.
* Support customers to achieve meaningful, reablement‐focused goals aligned to their individual needs and preferences.
* Recommend equipment, home modifications and strategies that enhance safety and participation.
* Collaborate with families, carers and multidisciplinary team members to strengthen outcomes and continuity of care.
What you'll bring Required
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
* Strong understanding of ageing, reablement principles and person‐centred practice.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the community.
Preferred
* Experience working in community aged care or home‐based service delivery.
* Experience recommending assistive technology, equipment or minor home modifications.
* Interest in contributing to service improvement and innovation within Community Aged Care Allied Health services.
