Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Strategize measurement, data collection, and insight generation
* Define metrics and instrument logging
* Acquire, ingest, architect, model, and transform data
* Ensure data quality, governance, and enablement
* Develop alerting, visualization, and reporting solutions
* Develop at scale and improve efficiency
* Report to a Data Engineering Manager and learn from experienced team mentors
About You
The company is looking for:
* Ability to commit to a 12‐week full‐time (40hrs/week) internship from November 2026 to February 2027
* Current full‐time enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field, with plans to return to study after the internship and graduate by January 2028
* Experience programming with Python or other object‐oriented languages
* Knowledge of data structures and their application to data challenges
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
* Demonstrated interest in Data Engineering through coursework, work experience, internships, or personal projects
* Applications accepted from Australian and New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents
