This is a critical role at the heart of Financial Crime Compliance. As a Compliance Officer – Governance and Regulatory Engagement, you will be the driving force behind our regulatory relationships and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing engagement strategies with key regulators like AUSTRAC and the Australian Sanctions Office
* Managing the secretariat function for the Financial Crime Risk Committee
You will collaborate across the organization, from Legal and Risk to frontline business units, ensuring our regulatory responses are sharp, timely, and trusted.
About You
* A strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for regulatory excellence
* A strong background in Financial Crime Compliance, ideally within banking
* A deep understanding of AML/CTF regulations and AUSTRAC expectations
You are known for clear communication, executive-ready writing, and ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
