About the role
The Executive Officer/Director of Nursing, Byron Central Hospital is responsible for the efficient and effective operational and strategic leadership and management of a comprehensive range of hospital services in line with district and Ministry of Health strategic plans, policy, community needs and budgetary allocation.
Responsible for the organisation and management of nursing, medical and support resources to ensure the provision of person centred care.
The Local Health District (LHD) is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
