Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Clinical & Retail Operations will lead and optimise the clinical operations of GMHBA's integrated health insurance and health care services, trading businesses and practices in Geelong and Regional areas in partnership with the Director of Clinical Care. The role is aiming to continue the delivery of high-quality patient and customer care, drive operational efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance. It will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of sales and profitability targets, and commercial growth objectives outlined within the Health and Branch network strategy.
In partnership with the Director of Clinical Care, the role will have a combined accountability for business outcomes, including employee, patient and performance for all Health Services Locations. This includes the support, design and implementation of all aspects of GMHBA's integrated PHI and Eye Care and Health Services Businesses. As a member of the Senior Leadership team, you will contribute to setting and delivery of GMHBA's overall strategic plan and objectives.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate as strong understanding of clinical operations, health care regulations, and industry best practices and understand the key business leavers between both clinical and commercial settings. The proven ability to lead a geographically diverse group of retail teams in achieving key business outcomes will also be needed. With In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality standards, and healthcare accreditation processes you will be able to work under pressure and tight timelines as well as balance the need for due caution and process. **This is a 15-month maternity leave contract.**
This is a fantastic opportunity to build and execute the functions framework commercially as well as the day-to-day business - recent experience in leadership of operational teams responsible for strategy, planning and delivery across Dental, Optical, Primary Care or Aged Care will be well regarded.
