Full Scale Metal Traders was established in 2020. We specialize in metal recycling solutions and service the Lockyer and Somerset regions. Our services include pick-ups, property/farm clean-ups, bin hire, processing metal for recycling from rural properties and trades. Due to expansion and growing demand for our services we are seeking expressions of interest from suitable applicants.
The Right Operator to join our team will be responsible for:
· Machinery Operation – Truck (HR), forklift, excavator and recycling specific machines.
· Picking up scrap metal including cars & machinery.
· Delivering product to recycling stations
· Sorting and processing metal and assisting with yard operations
· Office and Administration
The Skills and Experience required for this role include:
· Natural ability to professionally represent the company and deliver exceptional customer experience
· Problem solving skills with an outside the box style of thinking
· An honest, reliable and trustworthy person with strong focus on safety and teamwork
· Hold a current HR licence and forklift licence
· Office and cash handling experience
Advantageous but not essential:
· Possess a rural, farming and agricultural background or have local geographical knowledge
· Crane truck experience
· Welding and metal work experience
· Metal recycling experience
