Landscape Construction Salesperson

MJ Landscapes & Maintenance is hiring a premium Design-Build Salesperson to sell high-quality landscape construction projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, spanning residential and commercial clients. This is a front-end role for someone who can qualify hard, sell value (not discounts), collaborate with design, and run a tight, professional sales process with clean handovers to delivery.
About the role
You will own the sales process from enquiry through to signed contract, including:
* Managing inbound leads and generating qualified design-build opportunities aligned to our premium positioning
* Running discovery calls and onsite consultations, qualifying out poor-fit leads early (budget, timeline, complexity, client fit)
* Collaborating with our Designer to develop concepts that align with client goals and budget
* Building clear scopes and proposals that prevent under-scoping and reduce disputes later
* Presenting and closing proposals with confident value communication (no discount selling)
* Keeping CRM updated within 24 hours and maintaining disciplined follow-up
* Executing a clean handoff to the Project Manager (scope, inclusions/exclusions, assumptions, expectations)
What we’re looking for
* Experience in premium residential and commercial construction sales (landscaping, outdoor construction, or high-ticket built environment)
* Strong consultative selling and design consultation skills
* Ability to read plans and basic construction drawings
* Estimating literacy (allowances, exclusions, cost drivers)
* Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
* CRM discipline (updated within 24 hours)
* Negotiation skills without discount reliance
* Current driver’s licence and comfort with frequent site consults
