Job Overview
We are partnering with a leading organisation within the financial services industry to hire a solid Mid‐Senior .NET Developer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise‐scale platforms while contributing to the adoption of AI‐enabled engineering practices across the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using C# .NET and Angular
* Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, and requirements analysis
* Enhance and refactor existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
* Support cloud initiatives, including migration and development in Microsoft Azure
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver high‐quality software solutions
* Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
* Support system integrations across internal and external platforms
* Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development workflows
* Review and validate AI‐generated outputs to ensure quality, security, and maintainability
Key Requirements
* Strong experience with .NET (4.8+), .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Razor, and C#
* Experience building enterprise applications and Web APIs
* Frontend development experience with Angular (preferred) or React
* Solid experience with SQL Server and relational database design
* Exposure to Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vaults)
* Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git/TFS
* Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and secure coding (OWASP)
* Experience working in Agile environments
* Exposure to AI‐assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot)
* Ability to critically assess and refine AI‐generated code
Nice to Have
* Experience within financial services or insurance
* Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies (e.g. Blazor)
* Experience with Docker / containerisation
* Familiarity with AI concepts (e.g. LLM APIs, RAG, AI agents)
* Experience contributing to performance, scalability, and security improvements
