Job Overview:
This position is responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process financial transactions, including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and daily finance administration tasks.
* Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes, including reconciliations and data entry.
* Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
* Prepare financial documentation and assist with internal and external audits.
* Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues.
Requirements:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate financial management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with stakeholders.
* Experience with aged-care claims and NDIS highly desirable.
