Business Administrator
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Administrator to provide administrative support across the business. This role will support multiple departments, including the WHS&T team, and play an important role in maintaining efficient business operations.
The role is based at our Waroona head office and at time across our various sites across the Peel region.
The role will also provide leave coverage for site administrators, making site-based experience highly desirable. In addition, the role will assist with covering the reception desk, acting as a key point of contact for visitors, phone enquiries, and general office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support across the business.
* Support the WHS&T team with documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
* Maintain and manage document control systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Provide leave coverage for site administrators as required.
* Assist with reception coverage, including greeting visitors, answering calls, and managing general enquiries.
* Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
* Maintain and update internal systems and databases.
* Coordinate business documentation, correspondence, and operational records.
* Support general office administration and business processes.
* Must be available to provide on-site support across various sites in the Peel region
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a business administration or office support role.
* Strong document control and records management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid Australian Driver's license
* White card
Desirable Experience
* Experience working in a site-based environment.
* Knowledge of construction, civil works, or mobile plant operations.
* Experience supporting WHS / safety teams.
* Previous reception or front-office experience.
