An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Technician who wants to step up to the Diagnostic / Master Technician level within our Service Workshop.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for various engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair and service vehicles.
This role allows you to work in a large, clean, modern workshop. Our technicians enjoy regular manufacturer and in-house training to ensure they remain experts in their field.
About The Role
* Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles
* You will offer a full range of specialised services, including diagnosis and repair.
* Accreditation at a Diagnostic Tech level
* Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with a variety of vehicles
* Working closely with workshop control on complex problems
* Repairing mechanical tasks such as engine, transmission & suspension systems
* Guiding Technicians, including apprentices
* Test driving & conducting quality assurance inspections
About You
* Qualified Technician with a high level of mechanical knowledge/experience
* Ideally with European mechanical experience.
* Having Mercedes-Benz experience puts you in front of the line.
* Ideally, you will have an understanding of automotive manufacturer processes
* Experience with all necessary aspects of vehicle mechanisms and systems
* Engine, drive train, chassis & electrical experience
* Strong diagnostic skills & attention to detail
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Current driver's license
