The Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (IMYOS) is a dynamic outreach team within the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (ICYMHWS). The multidisciplinary IMYOS team provides a responsive outreach service to difficult to engage young people aged 12 - 25 years of age, who are experiencing acute and/or complex mental health difficulties. The IMYOS clinician is responsible for providing intensive treatment, care and support to a defined caseload of young people. The role is also responsible for engaging and supporting carers, supporters and community service providers in the care of the young person. The IMYOS team is supported by a Consultant Child Psychiatrist and Psychiatry Registrar. Generous professional development and professional supervision are supported by the ICYMHWS program.
This position is available as full time or part time.
The successful applicant will have:
* Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or Registered Psychiatric Nursing,
* Current registration with AHPRA or Member of AASW
* Experience in the provision of mental health care to young people
* A passion for youth mental health
