We are looking for a Principal Analyst, IT Financial Management (ITFM) to join the Operations & Performance Branch on permanent, full time basis. The successful candidate will gain a comprehensive understanding of the IT Financial Management solution and associated ICT service cost models needed to support various user / stakeholder groups, inform continuous improvement initiatives, and mature ICT financial and service performance reporting.
Reporting / work relationships
The position reports directly to Director Commercial Strategy. The position has no direct reports.
Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirements
* While not mandatory, a tertiary degree and professional qualifications in finance or closely related field is highly desirable.
* It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01 / 16 ) :
* pertussis (whooping cough)
* tuberculosis

The essential requirements for this role are :
* Demonstrated ICT financial management (or equivalent) and cost modelling experience, including conversant utilisation and continuous improvement of financial management solutions.
* Demonstrated experience in vendor contractual management, coordination of solution upgrades / enhancements, and user / stakeholder communication and change management processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a broader team, problem solve, and actively share information and knowledge.
