**About the Role**
As the Concierge, you will be responsible for providing accurate information about Melbourne and surrounding areas, the facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne, in-house functions, transportation and leisure activities. Whilst providing an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers in accordance with Hyatt International's brand standards. You will support the Front Office team of 20 including the Front Office Manager in the day to day operations as well as efficient check in and check out and upselling of hotel services and loyalty programs.
**Qualifications**:
**Some of the responsibilities include**
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Desk on a day to day basis.
- To be fully conversant with all services, facilities and functions within the hotel.
- To be fully aware of all activities within the Hotel on a day to day basis.
- To be responsible for the up-selling and cross-selling of Hyatt Loyalty Programs and all facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne.
- To handle guest enquiries and requests and to have a thorough and up to date knowledge of Melbourne city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas.
- Assist Front Office with basic functions
**Qualifications**
- Previous work experience in a similar rapid-paced hotel operations environment
- Excellent knowledge of Melbourne and its city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas
- Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and possess great attention to detail
- An ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
- The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays
