About Proton Intelligence Inc.
We are developing subcutaneously implantable wearable sensors for chronic kidney disease and heart failure patients to improve their wellbeing and save lives. Our first product will be the first ever continuous potassium monitoring platform to prevent cardiac arrhythmia in patients with heart failure and chronic kidney disease.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage all elements of the hardware ("HW") system design and verification & play a lead role in a product development program
2. Deep understanding of the design
3. Experience with design software (Altium, etc.), ability to produce schematics
4. Experience with simulation software (LTspice, etc.) is a plus
5. Identify Critical to Quality Elements
6. Develop the product Verification Plan (Device History File)
7. Work with Vendors to ensure streamlined verification
8. Involvement with Supply Chain Management
9. Participate in tooling, automation, manufacturing engineering of their design from inception to market release
10. Create Hardware Schedules for Projects
11. Experience with IEC 60601-1 is a plus
12. Lead role in a product development program (electrical engineering perspective)
13. Develop processes to integrate engineering teams at vendors into work plan
14. Experience from R&D prototype to production design and transfer
15. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
16. Manage department and device design development budgets
17. Create and maintain project plans and schedules
18. Having a professional support network (suppliers, contractors, consultants) is a plus
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
1. Work with Vendors for procurement
2. Experience with Ultra-Low Power (Body Wearable) devices – Power management with BLE communication is critical
3. BSc in Electrical Engineering minimum, MSc preferred
4. Experience from research prototypes to final production designs is a plus
