As a privately-owned company, The Midfield Group offers a genuine 'Paddock to Plate' experience. We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.
We currently have a vacancy for highly skilled, experienced and safety focused Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Warrnambool Victoria.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Daily plant freezer and cool room temperature checks
* Maintenance request breakdowns, diagnosis and repairs
* Preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
* Services on local dairy farms and associated refrigeration equipment
* Working with various departments and areas onsite
* Quick response to breakdowns with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Be part of a rotating on call roster and prepared to work overtime
Skills & Experiences
* You must be a qualified Refrigeration Technician and hold relevant licences (ARCtick licence, restricted licences)
* Experience in refrigeration systems freon as well as secondary coolants
* Good computer skills with experience using SCADA advantageous
* Must have the right to work in Australia
* You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
* You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process

* (12hr rotating): 2x 12hr days, 2x 12hr nights, 4 off
* (12hr rotating): 4x 12hr days, 4 off
* (8hr fixed): Monday – Friday
