**About the role
This rewarding education-focused role gives you the opportunity to guide and mentor undergraduate midwifery students as they build confidence, practical skills and professional identity in the clinical environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Support cost effective workplace teaching and learning that promotes and fosters a culture of continuous learning and inquiry.
Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
Deliver an advanced standard of woman and baby care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation by using clinical midwifery expertise.
