Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Chemist to support defence in the development and testing of advanced munitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Laboratory testing on various formulations to characterise chemical and mechanical properties
* Test data analysis
* Maintenance of manufacture and test facilities
* Liaison with workshop staff for hardware preparation
* Development of test methodologies and technical support
* Risk assessment and standard operating procedures for facilities and processes
The ideal candidate will possess Australian citizenship, a diploma or degree in chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering, and experience in safe handling of hazardous materials and energetic material processing.
