About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to play a key role in delivering electrical engineering expertise across both Greenfield and Brownfield projects. This position offers exposure to diverse projects, including open pit and some underground work, while supporting operational reliability and continuous improvement.
* Designing and reviewing electrical systems for capital works and operational projects is a core responsibility of this role.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project documentation, estimates, schedules, contracts, and RFIs across all phases of capital works.
* This includes coordinating closely with Operations and other disciplines.
This role requires experience in managing contractors and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and site safety requirements.
Providing technical support to maintenance teams for troubleshooting and reliability improvements is also a key aspect of this position.
Driving project execution from concept through commissioning, ensuring safe and cost effective outcomes, is essential.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate strong technical knowledge in electrical design, power distribution, and protection systems.
You should have a hands-on approach to problem-solving and excellent analytical skills.
Familiarity with mining electrical infrastructure such as substations, MCCs, VSDs, and instrumentation is highly desirable.
