About the role
The Senior Duty Manager will provide service excellence across our 2 Lounges, reporting to the Lounge Manager, and leading a team of supervisors and F&B Attendants.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading by example to deliver friendly, professional food & beverage service.
Managing front of house operations to ensure high-quality service.
Completing daily operational sheets and communicating across all lounge areas.
Reporting staff issues such as sickness, absence, and punctuality.
Achieving business targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Handling customer complaints and escalating when necessary.
Communicating effectively with team members and management.
Mentoring, training, and developing team members, and identifying future leaders.
Managing rostering and payroll.
Implementing training programs and conducting inductions.
Maintaining hygiene standards in food handling and presentation.
Adhering to Accor and brand policies.
This role requires the ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster, hold a valid Responsible Manager or Licensed Venues certificate, pass a Federal Police Clearance, and have Australian working rights.
Qualifications
A passion for people and developing future hospitality leaders.
Experience managing large teams in a lounge, hotel, or similar environment.
Ability to support and guide team members to meet operational expectations.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software applications.
