We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Landscape Gardener and embark on a rewarding journey in the world of horticulture.As an Apprentice Landscape Gardener, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced horticulturists to develop your skills and gain practical knowledge in all aspects of garden maintenance.
This entry-level position offers hands-on training and the chance to contribute to exciting projects in high end residential settings.From Palm Beach to Vaucluse and everywhere in between, you will work and experience some of Sydney's finest gardens.Responsibilities:Assisting with the maintenance of landscapes, including planting, irrigation, and turf management.Learning and practicing proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.Participating in soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities.Contributing to the design and layout of outdoor spaces under the guidance of senior team members.Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.RequirementsYour attributes and requirements:Interest in plants and gardensCommitted to an apprenticeship (not just a job)Willingness to learnBe punctual and have a great work ethicBe well presented and physically fitEnjoy working as part of a teamCurrent drivers licence an advantage but not essentialMust have a sense of humour!!
