The role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a kitchen assistant to join our Catering team located in our Brisbane office on a full time basis, Monday to Friday.
As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for washing dishes and maintaining a clean, organised workspace. You will also support food preparation to help our Chefs deliver high‐quality dishes for staff and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
* Dishwashing and ensuring timely clean up of equipment.
* Ensure food preparation areas and associated equipment meet appropriate standards of cleanliness.
* Assist in the preparation of food for client functions and events, staff events including morning and afternoon teas, working lunches, and our on‐site café.
* Comply with all City Council health requirements.
Skills & Experience
* Relevant food safety qualifications.
* Experience in corporate kitchens would be highly regarded.
* Passion for producing high quality food.
* Strong work ethic and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent teamwork skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
