 
        
        OverviewAssociate Acoustics Engineer in Eastern Australia. 
Based in South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 
The role focuses on the technical delivery of noise and vibration assessments and inputs for Jacobs projects within the Noise and Vibration capability in ANZ.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive acoustic assessments and provide expert advice for Jacobs projects across various sectors.Lead and write proposals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive, plan and deliver integrated projects.Provide advice and acoustic assessments throughout Australia and New Zealand.QualificationsRelevant degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering or related field with relevant consulting experience.Strong understanding of acoustic first principles and demonstrable technical acumen in noise and vibration modelling and prediction, evaluation of results, control of impacts, and monitoring.Proven experience delivering environmental acoustics-related projects; building related acoustics experience is advantageous.Excellent communication skills, including report writing and oral communication.Ability to work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.Membership and accreditation from relevant professional bodies (e.g., Australian Acoustic Society and/or Chartered Skilled Engineer with Engineers Australia) is desirable.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
