About the company:
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia's leading food processing companies, based in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. Operating a number of brands and sub-divisions, they pride their services on providing quality food products to feed families across Australia.
Due to an internal movement, they are now looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team.
About the role:
As the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Credit Manager by taking on some higher-level tasks and responsibilities. This will include acting as an escalation point for the wider AR and Credit team, supporting staff with guidance and issue resolution, managing day-to-day AR, credit, and collections activities, reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies, monitor overdue balances, and collaborate with the wider finance and accounting team.
You will bring:
* Previous experience in a similar position, ideally in a large environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong understanding of wider finance and accounting principles
* Confident ability to talk and collaborate with a number of different people in different teams
* Technical knowledge of large ERPs, ideally SAP
