About the Role
Tweed Valley Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Clinician – Towards Zero Suicides in Care Service Coordinator to join the team. The role will lead the implementation of the NSW Towards Zero Suicides in Care initiative in the Northern NSW Local Health Districts (NNSWLHD) Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services alongside key mental health and alcohol and other drugs personnel, people with lived experience of suicidality, key members of the community managed sector and other key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include driving the components of Just and Restorative Culture, Pathways to Care, Assertive Outreach Teams, and Alternatives to the Emergency Department. Target populations include Aboriginal people, LGBTI, young people and men.
