As a Mission IT Networks & Security Operations Technician at KBR, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of secure systems for the Australian Defence Force.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in Defence ICT environments, including Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE). You will be responsible for providing technical support to the development, introduction to service, sustainment and evolution of software and hardware, data, tools and processes in fixed and deployed environments for ADF mission planning systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Technical support to the development, introduction to service, sustainment and evolution of software and hardware, data, tools and processes in fixed and deployed environments for ADF mission planning systems.
* Technical support to the development of solutions to resolve issues with data support for MPS.
* Maintenance of physical server and networking hardware.
* Develop, manage, and maintain systems configuration for MPS laptops.
* Installing, configuring, testing and deploying software.
* Provide effective support to ensure all mission systems are working and meet the operational needs of users.
* Provide support on Defence strategic networks.
* Technical support to the security and accreditation of MPS.
* Identifying and managing program and technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.
* Reviewing, verifying, and improving documentation produced in support of MPS development and sustainment.
* Meet assigned task within Project deliverables.
You will also be required to work closely with other technical staff and key client stakeholders to provide IT technical and administration support for the MPS and ICT systems used and supported by KBR.
