Position Summary
We're looking for a hands‐on Electrical Supervisor who's confident leading a small team, solving problems on the floor, and keeping a busy manufacturing site running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the maintenance team – supervise electricians and apprentices to ensure safe, efficient, and high‐quality work across our manufacturing workshops and distribution centre.
* Maintain equipment reliability – perform and oversee planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime, optimise performance, and manage costs effectively.
* Champion safety and compliance – drive a strong safety culture, ensuring all maintenance activities meet WHS, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Develop and grow team capability – coach and mentor team members, fostering technical growth, cross‐skilling, and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Collaborate and improve – work closely with production, engineering, and external contractors to plan maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and lead improvement projects under Lean/TPM frameworks.
* Contribute to investigations and audits – participate in root‐cause analysis, inspections, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and sharing learnings across the team.
Education / Experience / Technical Requirements
* Australian A‐Grade Electrical Trade qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience managing a team of trades or technicians (preferable).
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
* Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and maintenance planning tools.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
* Sound understanding of WHS legislation and a strong commitment to safety.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
