Job Title: Research Translation Specialist
The role involves promoting the translation and uptake of research into practice, resulting in measurable improvements to healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support grant evaluation processes and facilitate researcher engagement with stakeholders and consumers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
* Organize stakeholder events such as webinars, workshops, and roundtables to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
* Lead impact measurement and communications, including synthesizing reporting from funded research groups and disseminating findings appropriately.
* Assist in governance activities, including internal reports, Board papers, and coordination of the Research Advisory Committee.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Allied Health, or a related field.
* Strong academic foundation in health services research and understanding of implementation science in an Australian context.
* Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across research, policy, and practice sectors to drive research impact.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into accessible outputs.
