What You Will Do
* Lead the implementation of Stockland's WHS strategy, systems and Standards of Safety across Queensland.
* Maintain a visible WHS leadership presence across sites, offices and project teams.
* Provide expert WHS advice and coaching to internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify and manage WHS risks with a focus on Acute High Risk Activities.
* Guide incident management processes, facilitate investigations for the most serious incidents and ensure lessons learned are shared and acted upon.
* Facilitate learning programs including high impact frontline leader sessions and contribute to WHS data reporting and analysis.
* Implement health and wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
* Partner with senior leaders to embed a proactive, risk-based safety culture across diverse Queensland operations.
About You
You are an experienced WHS practitioner who brings confidence, credibility and a practical approach. You thrive in complex, high-risk environments and enjoy shaping culture as much as refining systems. You influence at pace, build strong relationships and take pride in creating safer, smarter ways of working.
Experience and Skills That Count
* Diploma or Degree in WHS, Risk, Environmental Management, Science or related technical discipline.
* Established WHS career in construction, asset management or both.
* Experience in high-risk industries such as infrastructure, mining, gas or energy.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice management systems.
* Familiarity with WHS systems, assurance processes and investigation methodologies including experience managing critical incidents.
* Crisis management capability and exposure to critical level incidents.
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication, coaching and problem solving skills.
* Passion for safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
