The hospital is undergoing a $790 million redevelopment to expand capacity and facilities, supporting future population growth. Located centrally in Liverpool City, it is accessible via public transport and near shopping and dining options.What you'll be doingThe primary role of a Trainee in Anaesthesia is to provide anaesthesia care in a complex clinical environment, under supervision appropriate to their training level and aligned with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) guidelines, or other relevant training programs. Trainees are expected to broaden their knowledge and skills across various subspecialties, delivering perioperative care, anaesthesia, and pain management both inside and outside the operating theatres. They will also participate as multidisciplinary team members in areas such as:Anaesthesia and sedation (including obstetric anaesthesia)Airway managementPain medicinePerioperative medicineResuscitationTrauma and crisis managementAdditionally, candidates should demonstrate:Excellent clinical skills, knowledge & judgementInsight and reflective learningTeamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and oralCommitment to ongoing patient care improvementPersonal integrity, professionalism, ethical practice, and humilityNeed more information?
