Health and Wellness Coordinator
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Wellness Coordinator to promote, administer, and coordinate health, wellness, and social programs for older people living in the community. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and their families.
* Create a welcoming and engaging environment that encourages members of the local community to participate in programs to improve their health and wellbeing
* Coordinate staff and volunteers to deliver weekly programs and services
* Onboard clients into requested programs and manage client records with ease
* Promote our organization's mission and values through effective marketing and outreach efforts
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Qualifications in Allied Health, Health Promotion, Leisure and Lifestyle, or similar (desirable but not required)
* Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of older people living in the community
* Enthusiasm for working with older people, their families, carers, and advocates to help identify and manage goals and plans to improve their health and wellbeing
* Ability to promote and coordinate programs, set timetables, and develop program calendars
* Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Client Management Systems

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling client information
