Want to kick‑start your career in Local Government in a Business Administration or Customer Service based role? Throughout the year, there are temporary work opportunities that may become available at Council for Business Administration and Customer Service professionals. We may need your administration and customer service skills while we support staff to take leave, or on secondment in another area of Council. Whatever the reason, a temporary work opportunity can serve as your foot in the door to a rewarding and diverse career in Local Government.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Efficiently complete administrative tasks and telephone coverage.
- Maintain electronic records, process invoices, and write correspondence.
Remuneration
Typical salary range for a temporary administration or customer service placement may range from $2,391.68 gross per fortnight to $3,009.22 gross per fortnight for full‑time hours of work.

Pay for Minors
