Our client, a large Federal Government department securing Australia and its national interests requires a Lead Technology Architect, for a month contract.
Duties of the Lead Technology Architect:
* Defining, developing, and leading the vision, strategy, target state, roadmap, and decision support for one or more infrastructure capabilities (Facilities, Storage, Compute, Network, enabling Platforms).
* Providing high quality advice to senior stakeholders and contributing to the decision support and wider strategic planning of the Department ensuring alignment with best practices, cost optimisation and business goals.
* Designing, developing, and/or leading appropriate architectural artefacts.
* Driving innovation.
* Extending Technology Architecture frameworks and governance processes.
* Providing design assurance, fit for purpose integration, and ensuring adherence with architectural strategy, principles, and practices.
Skills and Experience - Lead Technology Architect:
Essential criteria
* Emerging technology monitoring: Level 6 (SFIA)
* Information security: Level 3 (SFIA)
* Innovation: Level 5 (SFIA)
* Solution architecture: Level 4 (SFIA)
* Specialist advice: Level 5 (SFIA)
* Systems design: Level 5 (SFIA)
Desirable criteria
* Consultancy: Level 6 (SFIA)
* Enterprise and business architecture: Level 5 (SFIA)
* Network design: Level 6 (SFIA)
* Requirements definition and management: Level 4 (SFIA)
