We are now looking for a proactive and commercially savvy National Account Executive to support our continued growth across major Australian and New Zealand retail channels.
What is the role?
Reporting to the Grocery Channel Lead, you will play an integral role in managing and supporting key customer groups across Amazon, Independent Grocery and Pharmacy retailers, and Distributors across New Zealand and the Independent channel. You'll work collaboratively with National Account Managers and Business Managers to deliver outstanding customer management, accurate reporting, and strong operational execution.
This role offers broad commercial exposure across eCommerce, Independent retail, and Distributors, providing a diverse development pathway with the opportunity to grow into increased responsibility.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and operational support to the Channel Leads as required across to support overall customer management.
* Support additional customer groups with administrative requests to assist with projections, reporting, and day‐to‐day customer requirements.
* Manage and grow the Amazon account, ensuring optimal brand representation, accurate content, strong operational execution, administrative responsibility including accurate forecasting and delivery of budgeted sales and trade spend within guidelines.
* Support other digital/online retailers as opportunities arise.
* Own and support the distributor channel, developing relationships, assessing profitability, and supporting the business in understanding financial and commercial impacts.
* Support sales related financial administration, including P&L inputs, reporting, margin reviews, and deal evaluation.
* Ensure all Sales and Accrual forecasting is accurate, including accounting for Metcash fees and Clearance related costs within forecasting tools.
* Support monthly business reporting, including customer updates, internal insights, and performance summaries, as well as any ad hoc reporting and presenting back to the business across key internal meetings.
* Coordinate team events, meetings, offsites, and teambuilding activities to support an engaged and collaborative‐team environment.

With 2-3 years' experience in FMCG account support or analyst roles, you will bring experience working with Amazon or similar e‐commerce partners and have the communication skills to build strong partnerships internally and externally.
Most of all will be your eagerness to learn, grow and take ownership as your remit expands!
