About the role:

We're on the lookout for a Full Time Duty Manager to support our day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll help keep things running smoothly, from overseeing service and staff to ensuring a great customer experience. If you're looking to step up in the hospitality industry, this role offers the opportunity to grow with the business. This role will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in maintaining a venue that has bar, bistro, and kitchen teams along with service to gaming outlets, and accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in meeting weekly and quarterly budget targets across all departments.
* Maintain high audit scores through consistent standards.
* Uphold strict cash-handling procedures and compliance with venue policies.
* Ensure opening/closing procedures and maintenance schedules are followed.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and receiving for cost efficiency
* Support operational plans, seasonal strategies, and guest experience initiatives.
* Aid recruitment and onboarding to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods.
* Maintain clear communication between all departments for smooth operations.
* Collaborate with Marketing on promotions, messaging, and community engagement.
* Assist in organising customer entertainment (music, trivia, and other activations) ensuring smooth scheduling and execution.
* Track customer feedback and recommend improvements.
* Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications:

The most successful candidates will have:

* Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a supervisory or management position in the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A thorough understanding of food and beverage service standards.
* Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
* Proficiency in financial management and cash handling.
* A passion for creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for customers
* Responsible Service of Alcohol
* Responsible Conduct of Gaming
* Availability to work on nights, weekends and public holidays.
